believes me, but at least 47% of my closest friends have AARP cards. I’d be a damn fool not to cultivate relationships with people who can tell me what’s what as time goes on. As the author of [B]OLD AGE, she is one of ‘em!

I have on good information (Debbie’s announcement email) that she thinks I’m ‘cool,’ perhaps because I am ‘young.’ Watch me dispel this misbelief!

We’ll also talk about:

1. Whether having been a prosecutor helps in my parenting (yes, I can use jail as a feasible threat)

2. Is being a writer enough of a commonality to support a friendship?

3. How does one cultivate intergenerational friendships?

4. What advice can she offer as I navigate parenting young children while trying to keep my spirit free? I’ll be honest: I feel GUILTY a LOT OF THE TIME! Either I’m not working/ doing enough of what I love, or I’m not sufficiently with my boys. Does a parent ever win? Tell me, Debbie!
